Photoshoot RECAP: Bianca (pt-1)
I’m still on my quest to catch up with my past photoshoots. I aim to get at least 1 more done before my photoshoot this weekend with Taimur at the St. Regis (should be fun!…although really really dark). Anyways, I photographed with Bianca before the big hiatus. Bianca has modelled forever and she’s mostly been a portrait model and aims to expand her portfolio to include more fashion/full length shots. Salsa came on board for the make up and she did an amazing job once again. I had worked with Salsa on the shoots with Melissa (part 1, part 2, part 3).
On a side note, Salsa also modelled for me as well…her photos are coming up very soon.
Bianca’s full length shots will be included the part 2 of her post, but for the moment I wanted to start out with these smokin’ pics…(yes pun intended…i’m just that cool…i know…).

Bianca specifically wanted a picture of her smoking. She doesn’t typically smoke, but she does look great with a cigarette in these shots. Hit the link for more pictures.

I have tried to photograph smoke once bfore and that didn’t turn out great. But this time we had a couple quick tries and then we were able to play off the background and get the smoke right.

As I mentioned earlier, Bianca doesn’t smoke regularly, so she only brought one cigarette to work with. So this one cigarette became the one limiting factor for the shoot. We only had so much smoke to work with in such a limited time.

Fortunately, we moved from pose to pose and got these which I’m very happy with. More of Bianca to come…but time for bed for now. enjoy
For techy people…I don’t quite remember the lighting setup…but I believe it was an umbrella low camera right, softbox camera left to the side of the model, and a snoot far back on the smoke, all in front of a black bg.
