Photoshoot RECAP: Katelin @ Paulo’s (pt-1)
Posted under: This past weekend was DC Photo Coop‘s open house event at Paulo’s house on the Chesapeak. It was a big photoshoot with 6 or 7 photographers (paulo, matt, john, ray, greg and a couple others and myself), 5 models (katelin, madison, britney, yubin and keriann ), MUA (chontae), hair stylist(Britney), clothes designer (booshie designs) and their families/spouses/assitants etc. We had all the ingrediants for a big fashion shoot. I shot with most of the models there to help their portfolio expansions. You can see documentary photos of the party on the DCphotocoop blog.
I’ll simply start off with a couple quick photos of Katelin with make up by Chontae. Even to a party, Katelin brough a suitcase of clothes to choose from. We chose the first outfit as simple bikini with a sweater vest…a bit posh looking.

With these shots, Katelin was standing on the pier obviously with gorgeous sun behind her. (I love shooting into the sun: with Gigi, with Nicole). The sun also reflected off the water creating even uniform giant bright lighting behind Katelin. Just perfect!
Afterwards, Katelin and I got on a boat and headed to the reeds to take some more photos…watch the photos of that in an upcoming post.
