Walking about Georgetown

A few nights ago after a gathering in DC photo coop, I took a photo stroll through Georgetown in late afternoon sun with Greg, an intern with DC Photo Coop.

With all the photoshoots and events, I can’t even recall the last time I just shot scenery for the fun of it.  Out of all the places Georgetown is the best place to do it…so many random sights.

To kick things off in familiar territory….look at this gorgeous model!

A new take on the silver lining at the end of the tunnel?

I find oftentimes when I take photos of scenery, I always focus on patterns.  May be it’s the technical side of me kicking in, but I love patterns and repetition and all that schpill.

Dedicated photographer.

I seriously find the most random things interesting, as with the case above…a suction thingy in a store window.

Pretty model again…lacks expressions.

Film noir-ish…provided you don’t read the actual words.

and how often do you get a view like this?
