Photoshoot: Michael Young (pt-2)
Continuing with the previous post with Michael Robert Young, a model with T.H.E. Artist Agency in Georgetown. Monae the MUA was up for the editorial shots we had in the end and we went for the ‘grease boy’ look as if Michael’s been working in the yard or such.

I think initially I had told Michael to bring a lumberjack-ish shirt for the concept. Hit the link for more photos.

In terms of lighting, I simply used a single Alienbee with the beautydish high up to make Michael just pop a bit from the background.

As with these shots to lend a bit of mystery and also voyeuristic look, I shot behind bushes to include out of focus branches/leaves in the frame to create the ever faint blur. First male model shoot…hope I did alright. More shoots from the week coming. Watch this space
