Photoshoot Mandy (pt-1)
Posted under: I have been working with T.H.E. Artist Agency quite extensively recently, photographing quite a few of their new faces. Mandy was one of their new models who recently moved here from Hawaii. Mandy has always worked as a runway model and was looking to go into more print work. So we put together a shoot and brought Monae on board to do the make up and hair. I had worked with Monae on the previous shoot with Michael, another T.H.E. model. Without further ado…here is the first part of Mandy’s shoot…the beauty photos.
On a side note, I have a tendency of splitting up my photoshoots to focus on the beauty shots first with various outfits etc and then put on heavier makeup for the high fashion shots at the end.

With these shots I’m still using gridded beauty dish pulled back, as you can see the catch light in her eyes. The single bare light behind her just creates a tiny bit of highlight and gradient.
Love the simple soft light of the softlighter II.
Sometimes clean beauty is just so light and airy….reminds me of dove commercials each and every time. May just shoot a dove themed one soon.
