Photoshoot: Tal

Continuing with the photoshoot with Demetress, we did a few different looks with Tal, a T.H.E. model.  This is the final look we tried…going for a bit of the high fashion editorial style.  Demetress totally transformed the way Tal looks by slicking Tal’s hair back.  Viola Ricci Couture provided the gorgeous dress for the shoot and it all worked out perfectly.

Tal with slicked hair and such beautiful form pulled off a stunning graceful and regal form…simply gorgeous.

Moving through all the different poses and hand placements and movements.

With the lighting for these I aimed for a slightly modified high key look.  High key general refers to very light and devoid of high contrast and shadows.   I wanted to shoot white on white to bring out the high key look but at the same time use shadows to bring out the texture in the dress.

Hence I used a single Ab800 with DIY back ground throw (more on this in a later post) to light up the back ground from camera left behind model.   Then I used the beauty dish un gridded and high up to cam right to light the model hence creating the shadows to bring out the ripples in the dress.  Love these pics.  Great team.
