Photoshoot: Orianna w/ Kim (pt-1)

Working with Kim (MUA) once again on my beauty portraits.  This time working with Orianna with two different looks.

For Orianna, I wanted to incorporate a scarf into the shot to give the typical beauty shot a bit of twist.   The white scarf also prvents rim lighting and I hope it would soften the light as well.

Hit the link for more photos.

With the scarf around her face, it diffuses all the light hence creating minimal shadows.  Also I added a soft gold reflector up front as well.

i thought the scarf adds a bit of mystery/exotic look to everything, may be it’s just me.

And lastly we have a simple headshot without any scarves.  this way we can see all of Orianna’s hair.

Also in terms of lighting, I used two AB800 shooting bare on the background and then two big white boards up front on either side of orianna to create more fill and a reflector under her to eliminate neck shadows.

A second look of Orianna coming up in a following post.  keep watching this space.
