NEW* TRIPOD !!!!

Just bought my new tripod today.  It’s an ancient Linhof tripod.  I found it on KEH, a little plug here…fantastic site!!!   Had not seen a picture or model number.  Just know the brand.   Took the plunge and bought it!   Take a look.  It’s built like a beast!  Take a look at pics

yes it’s beige and big.  It’s 3 sections and comes to about 60″ without raising the center column.

with the geared center column raised it’s about 76 inches tall.

Geared center column mechanism.  You have to hold down the little lever to lower the center column.

try to find that on a gitzo or manfrotto!

YES.  WEST GERMANY.  this is a bit of history i have now :)
