Workshop RECAP

Just a quick update from my recent photography workshop in DC.  It was a busy weekend culminating in the fashion workshop at the carriage house studios.  We had a great turn or with photographers of various skill levels, ranging from just exploring the fashion industry to 30 years in the photography industry.  With oriana as our muse, we worked on beauty and fashion photography playing with both the beauty dish and the plm.

The workshop also included live critique of the photos taken during the workshop.  It was very refreshing to see how everyone’s visions differed and what each photographer wanted to pull out of the model.

Here are a couple of mine from the workshop and the lighting setups (I forgot the light power setting and distances, but you get the idea).  You can check out everyone’s photographs on the meetup event page.

and a few light fashion ones as well
